Anne Toews
Program Director
Anne's responsibilities include planning and delivering festival and special events; the Education Department; Volunteer Co-Ordinator; and organizing tours. She brings years of experience both in business and event planning. She enjoys spending time with family, camping, and cross stitching.

Jo-Ann Friesen
Gift Shop Manger
As Manager of Village Books and Gifts, Jo-Ann comes to MHV with many years of business, communication and customer service experience. Her bubbly personality is contagious and is a person who works tremendously hard to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Whether you are looking for that perfect souvenir or exciting book, Jo-Ann is always ready to lend a helping hand.

Alexandra Kroeger, B.A. (Hons.), M.A.
Assistant Curator
Alexandra uses her collections experience to care for and maintain our artifacts, which include our historic buildings. She also assists the Senior Curator with research, exhibit design and installation, and guides visitors on specialized and event day tours. She has a B.A. (Hons.) in History, and an M.A. in Cultural Studies, majoring in Curatorial Practice, from the University of Winnipeg.

Roger Ginter
Rental Manager
Along with tending to the day to day needs of the office, Roger brings his customer service and sales skills to all facility rentals. Finding a suitable space for your wedding, business meeting, train session or other gatherings is his top priority.

Jared Nickel
Facilities Manager (Seasonal)
Jared is coming into his third season, overseeing maintenance of the museum grounds this year. You'll find him working with volunteers on various projects on the grounds as well as overseeing the barnyard, tinkering on old vehicles, fixing pipes, and helping to set up various exhibits, among numerous other things.

Dora Penner
Food Services Manager (Seasonal)
Dora manages our Food Services department which includes the Livery Barn Restaurant, the Short Order Booth and MHV Catering. Since our Village is only open May through September, her role corresponds with that timeframe. Dora’s years of experience as a caterer allow her to achieve high standards of excellence.

Nita Wiebe
Gift Shop Assistant and Receptionist
On most days, Nita is the first face you’ll see when you walk into the museum. She serves as the receptionist for MHV and assists in the day to day running of Village Books & Gifts. She loves books and the arts and brings many years of retail experience to the shop.

Andrea Dyck, B.A. (Hons), M.A.
Curator
Andrea is responsible for the museum's collection of artifacts and for the development of all our exhibits.She brings a rich experience in Mennonite history and curatorial work to MHV. Andrea earned her BA (Hons) in History at the University of Winnipeg and her MA in Mennonite History at the University of Manitoba and University of Winnipeg. She also currently holds a part-time position with the D. F. Plett Historical Research Foundation.

Patricia West
Development Coordinator
Patricia will be responsible for our fundraising events, sponsorship programs, and promotional materials and activities. She brings experience from a variety of administrative and volunteer roles. Patricia grew up in southeastern Manitoba and has been involved in numerous community events over the years.
