The outdoor buildings are closed from October 1 to April 30. Reduced admission is in effect. If they are opened by arrangement for a large group, regular admission prices apply.
The museum may be closed due to severe weather conditions. To avoid disappointment please call ahead.

Bio
Andrea Klassen, B.A. (Hons), M.A. Senior Curator
Andrea is responsible for the museum's collection of artefacts and for the development of all our exhibits. She brings a rich experience in Mennonite history and curatorial work to MHV. Andrea earned her BA (Hons) in History at the University of Winnipeg and her MA in Mennonite History at the University of Manitoba and University of Winnipeg.
Andrea is currently on leave until the spring of 2025.

Bio
Robert Goertzen, B.A. Interim Executive Director
Robert is a lifelong resident of the Steinbach area and has been involved in various aspects of community life, including work, recreation and church. He has a bachelor’s degree in history, with particular interest in Mennonite history. We are pleased to have Robert on our team to lead this important part of MHV’s work.

Nita Wiebe Gift Shop Assistant and Receptionist
On most days, Nita is the first face you’ll see when you walk into the museum. She serves as the receptionist for MHV and assists in the day to day running of Village Books & Gifts. She loves books and the arts and brings many years of retail experience to the shop.

Bio
Nathan Dyck, B.Ed., B. Mus., M.A. Development Coordinator
Nathan handles the social media, fundraising, and website updates here at MHV. He spent close to a decade as a teacher in public schools throughout Southeast Manitoba. Nathan holds a Master's of Arts in Religious Studies from the University of Manitoba.
