The Mennonite Heritage Village (MHV), located in Steinbach, MB, is an interpretive centre and open-air museum whose mission is to relate the story of the Russian Mennonites and their settlement in Manitoba. The museum has 16,800 artefacts, more than 30 heritage buildings and monuments on a beautiful 40-acre site, as well as two indoor galleries. Position

The Development Coordinator is responsible for the delivery and maintenance of MHV’s sponsorship programs, the planning and execution of fundraising events, the administration of various advertising and public relations initiatives, and the coordination of grant applications.

Qualifications:

o             College diploma

o             Training and experience in public relations and fundraising

o             Knowledge of digital work including social media

o             Familiarity of the Mennonite community and the communities of SE Manitoba

o             A good understanding of business and working on a team
